Ahh, Frank Lawlor! One of my favorite reporters to work with (back in the day) except for his always asking me to get him a photo of him with ... fill in the blank! This was the day we cover a small circus in town and after heard the customary request from him, and noticing the swaying baby elephant's trunk, I said "Absolutely!" I got the timing just right and strangely enough Frank rarely asked for a photo of him with ... fill in the blank ... ever again!

On a side note, Frank had a pretty wild career track. He later moved to Spain, coached one of the Spanish pro basketball teams and then returned to the area as The Philadelphia Inquirer's lead writer of the NBA Sixers. Great guy with a wild career!
